The modular system
The plics concept is actually very simple: each instrument is assembled from prefabricated individual components only after an order is received. This modular principle gives VEGA customers complete flexibility when they’re selecting different sensor features. They get custom-made, user-friendly equipment in an amazingly short time. And best of all: these instruments are more cost-effective in every respect – throughout their entire life cycle.

The modules
Every instrument from the plics series consists of five modules: a sensor is connected via a process fitting to a housing of plastic, aluminium or stainless steel. Therein lies the heart of the instrument: an individually programmed electronics module. The head of the instrument is always the same indicating and adjustment module. So anyone who has once operated a particular plics measuring instrument can operate all other plics devices.
