Storage of fillers
The aggregates are temporarily stored in multiple-chamber silos. Large amounts of dust are generated when the chambers are being filled. The geometry of the material heaps can vary depending on the consistency of the aggregates and the properties of the bulk materials can also vary from filling to filling.
Level measurement with VEGAFLEX 61
VEGAFLEX 61 is the ideal solution for continuous measurement in aggregate silos up to approx. 10 m (33 ft) high. By virtue of the guided microwave measuring principle (TDR), adjustment with product is not necessary. Since the instrument comes already factory-adjusted, set-up involves only electrical connection. The measuring results are influenced neither by product quality nor dust generation, nor by the shape of the material heap.
Overfill protection with VEGAVIB 62
VEGAVIB 62 provides additional protection against overfilling of multiple-chamber aggregate silos. The flexible suspension cable avoids mechanical loads that arise through material flow. Set-up does not require a filling. Since VEGAVIB 62 has practically no moving parts, it is not subject to wear and tear.
