Radar for simple process conditions

Radar for simple process conditions

For many years radar sensors have proven their worth as level measuring devices in many different areas of industry. This universal measurement technology is implemented in widely varying applications and delivers reliable measuring results even under difficult conditions such as high temperature and pressure. In many easy applications, however, pressure resistance up to 40 bar and temperature stability up to 200 °C are not necessary – in many cases, the sensors are overdesigned for these areas of use. When the requirements are lowered, radar technology today becomes an interesting option even for standard measuring tasks.
